Founded in 1872, this sake brewery is located in Kotoura Town, Tottori. This area is known for its gorgous waterfalls, incluging Oyama Falls, which was selected as one of Japan's top 100 waterfalls. Since its founding, this brewery has always used local rice from Oyama, and has continued to make refreshingly dry sake. The brand was named "Takaisami" ("Falcon Bravery") by the founder, who was a bird lover. He was fascinated by the brave appearance of falcons in flight.
