Founded in 1872, this sake brewery is located in Kotoura Town, Tottori. This area is known for its gorgous waterfalls, incluging Oyama Falls, which was selected as one of Japan's top 100 waterfalls. Since its founding, this brewery has always used local rice from Oyama, and has continued to make refreshingly dry sake. The brand was named "Takaisami" ("Falcon Bravery") by the founder, who was a bird lover. He was fascinated by the brave appearance of falcons in flight.
The Nakagawa Sake Brewery aims to contruibute to food culture and bring people happiness by brewing "sake that will leave a lasting impression." They endeavour to hold onto their spirit of gratitude, carry on traditions, and also connect to the future without being afraid of challenges and improvement. Gouriki rice ceased to be produced after a food shortage many years ago, but thanks to the cooperation of local farmers and Tottori University, it was revived after 35 years. The local farmers use traditional methods with less agricultural chemicals and little nitrogenous fertilizer. The sake is then fermented for a long time at a low temperature, so you can enjoy the terroir of Tottori. The result is an unforgettable sake.

Hojyo Wine is a winery located on the Hojo Sand Dunes of Tottori Prefecture. Since their founding in1944, involved in the whole process of wine making, from growing the grapes on the sand dunes, to producing and selling the wine.
