Fukui prefecture is located in the southwest part of the Hokuriku region.
Fukui is an excellent place for natural sightseeing, and some of it's famous locations include the Tōjinbō cliffs (pictured here), the Five Lakes of Mikata, and the popular snorkeling spot Mizu Island.
